What a blustery day in IL

It's cold, windy, worse than the 'storm of the century' I think. I'm grateful to have a warm and cozy home and tons of things to do!!

We had great fun last night. My sis and her kids came over for home made pizza, chex-mix, scrabble, checkers and decorating cookies. It's the simple things, eh?!

Ready for Christmas!

WELLLLLL, The decorations are up, the stockings are hung and the c-mas card is whirling about my head.  I still have a lot of homework to do for this class; so soon I can get it written and make my card.  Other than that and a little shopping, the house and I are READY to celebrate.  Be safe, be happy and enjoy the days leading up to THE day!  Blessings!

Making the first batch of fall chili........added two new secret ingredients.  Can't wait to try it out.  COME ON LUNCH TIME.  ha!!!!  Shingles ready to go on....as soon as the sun moves around the corner a bit to warm it up.
